Halle's hair is almost past that awkward length... almost.  But one day I decided to see what would happen if I tried to bring out her natural curls, so I just added a little mousse to her wet hair.  Let me tell you, she thought that mousse coming out of the bottle was hilarious.  And look what happened! I thought it was pretty cute.  And it looks somewhat decent and like I actually tried to do her hair that day.  It's just a bonus that it only takes like 15 seconds to do. Do you see the corners of her poor little mouth?  That's leftovers from her rash that she keeps picking at and making bleed.  I'm afraid she's going to have a scar if she doesn't leave it alone and let it heal.

And then there's Owen... He's just cute.  We all love him and I think he's always going to get away with whatever he wants.  He looks so tiny in his car seat.  And it freaks me out to look back in the van and see THREE children. I got  a new carseat this time because our old one was about to expire.  Plus it was disgusting... Hayden and Halle did some damage with their awesome puking skills and no matter how many times I washed it and cleaned it, there were too many little crevices to get it all clean.  And I am super excited to say that Owen does not spit up nearly as much!  A human burp cloth I am not!  In fact, he's probably peed on Derrick more times than he's spit up on me. :)

Last weekend Derrick's brother got married.  I wasn't feeling up for travelling with a newborn yet, so I stayed home and he took the two older kids.  I took the opportunity to do a little photoshoot while it was quiet and sunny in the living room.  I'm not the best photographer and I only have a little point and shoot... but I think a few turned out ok.  I'll show more once I decide which one is going on his birth announcement.

 Cute even when he's mad!

He's really such a joy!  It's so fun to have a baby in the house.  I'm really enjoying being a mom again.  I think I needed a recharge, and even though I am completely sleep deprived, he was just what I needed.  I'm a lot more patient with Hayden and Halle and I'm just enjoying them more.  This could also be because I'm no longer pregnant. :)

I will however complain about how much I miss dairy.  Sigh.  For a few nights he was acting pretty miserable, and he had a rash.  I just had a gut feeling that it was a dairy sensitivity so I cut it out and it really seemed to help.  So now I don't get to eat ice cream for a year.  Sad.

Owen is such a cute baby! I love the last picture, all swaddled in the basket with his hands by his face. So Cute! This is getting me excited for our new baby.

My neighbor had to go off dairy when she was nursing her son, and she said that coconut ice cream was REALLY good. Also, Owen is such a cute little guy!

I love Halle's hair! So precious. And little Owen is an angel. What a handsome little guy. I want to meet him someday soon ok. :)

Owen is so cute! If you want more curl in Halle's hair try using a pomade, for finer hair it tends to work better than mousse or gel.

Oh he's so cute!!

Sorry about the dairy. :( You probably know this but Smith's sells a lot of good tasting dairy alternatives. When I went off of dairy for a little bit with B I don't know what I would've done without Smith's! They even have rice milk and coconut milk ice cream. Not quite as good as the real stuff but better than none at all! :)

I think Owen looks like Hayden - how sweet. Hooray for less spitting!

Halle's hair is super cute like that. I'm glad you found a way to work it.

If you are worried about the scar, go buy some vitamin E ointment at the store (I got some at Wal-Mart). I've used this on both Claire and Linus and it works like a charm for helping scars heal up.

Awww...that is sad. I drink milk like crazy so I would go nuts.

I am so glad Owen doesn't have reflux! Yay! Both my boys peed on Jared all the time too. I think I got peed on once or twice with Owen but not Reid. I don't know why but Dad was always the unlucky target. :)
