I need to get this girl a jumperoo because it looks like she is going to break this thing. The johnny jump-up is lost somewhere in boxes, I think.

Hooray for baby mum-mums that keep her entertained while we eat dinner. Boo for very sticky rice messes.
Derrick always finds ways to entertain the kids that I wouldn't have though of. That's what dads are for.
I was so proud of Derrick for taking this picture. He's starting to take after me. Whenever the kids get in silly situations I just leave them there so I can take a picture. We heard Hayden crying from the other room and Derrick said, "Aw, are you stuck? Hang on. It's ok." As he ran to get the camera, without me even telling him to! I'm not sure Hayden appreciated it though.
This makes me so sad. He's getting so painfully shy. He is there looking at the neighbor kids on the trampoline and he wants to join them so bad. But he's too shy, so he stands there and watches them. He sat down too, and just watched them.

And then when they left and Mom and Dad weren't watching very well he climbed up and started jumping! You can imagine the worrier that I am, I was a bit terrified that before Derrick could get to him he was going to fall off and break something. I know you can't see it very well because of the tree, but I had try to take a picture of our independent little guy.

What a cute post! Halle is getting so big! Such a sweetheart. And Hayden made me laugh out loud how he got stuck!
Asher is super shy too. It's so hard sometimes because he wants to play with other kids sometimes, but starts clinging to me if I try to encourage it or we get too close. Other times, though, he'll just jump right in. I think it depends on how comfortable he feels in each situation.
Okay, so this cracks me up. Linus jumps like a maniac in his excersaucer too! Also.... Claire likes to sit in it and be silly. Weird.
Look at her jump!!!!!! And I love that Hayden was just chillin' in it(especially when we was stuck!) You guys are such cute parents!! I miss you guys! I hope everything goes well with closing on your house! How EXCITING!

Looks like Hayden wasn't too excited to get off the trampoline when Derrick went to get him. I love the picture of Halle in the basketball hoop...such a cute smile and Derrick is such a good dad. Only 14 more days till I can kiss those chubby cheeks!
I'm mean Halle's of course...not Derricks. I laughed so hard when I read what I wrote...hahaha!!

Ha ha. Those were fun pictures. Hayden getting stuck is so funny. You are so smart to think to get the camera before you get them unstuck. I need to do that more often.
