We went to Derrick's parents' house for Easter festivities this year. I started out my Saturday by sleeping in until 11. ahhh that used to be my favorite pastime and now it's very rare. I felt like I was starting to get sick and knew that I should take advantage of having the grandma around to help so I could get some rest, because I will never get that at home. Today Derrick and I realized that we will probably only get our Sunday naps back when we turn 50.
Anyway...
We colored Easter eggs when I got up. Another first for Hayden. I love that he is finally old enough to do really fun things on the holidays.
I just let him have at it and didn't even care when he stuck his fingers in the dye...
...as you can tell.
Then we had another hunt outside. Because it was called an Easter Egg hunt, Hayden would only pick up the eggs at first! He skipped right over the candy.

Ha ha! Thats cute! I bet he had fun! Addie couldnt really do much on her own, lol but she loved watching us, and totally kept steaking eggs to play with and suck on! lol...was so funny!.. she was really good with them though! I cant wait, like you said, until she can do all the fun things(like egg hunts and stuff!) next year!
Hayden is so cute!... oh and glad you got some rest! I always take advantage of slepping at the grandmas' where possible too! :)
That's so fun. Madison's hands turned out to be that same color after we dyed easter eggs too. Her mouth also got a little bit of orange as well.
