It's teddy bear wash day. You would think it's teddy bear murder day!"No! Get him out!"
Hayden loves loves loves his teddy. I'm glad he got so attached to something else. I am glad it was this teddy bear too, because it's such a cute one. It's actually the first thing Derrick and I bought for him when we found out I was pregnant, which makes it even more special. It's really cute to see him playing with it. He gives it hugs and when he is sad he goes to find it. The cutest thing lately is that if he has a sippy cup, he will share it with the bear and put it up to his lips. He even feeds it cereal during sacrament meeting. No meal is complete without teddy bear sitting in the high chair with him, hence the reason that it's teddy bear wash day.
I tried to have him put the bear in the washer this morning, thinking it would help if he were the one to do it. But he wouldn't let go, so I just decided to sneak it from him when he was distracted with another toy. I did that successfully, but I forgot to shut the doors when I started the washer. Since we have front loaders with windows Hayden loves to look in. I bet he was shocked when he saw his best friend sloshing around in there! Luckily, some milk with a little chocolate was a good enough distraction.

That's hilarious!
How sad, but it is kind of funny though. Hehe
Oh my heavens - this is hilarious. Hayden cracks me up. Thanks for the advice on my blog too - it means a lot to get a lot of ideas.
Ha ha! Thats so stinkin' cute!
That is hilarious! He is so cute carrying around that teddy bear!
Oh, that's funny! Did the teddy bear help with the transition from the binkie? Liesl LOVES putting Mimi in the "bath" (washer). But she's older. When Liesl was Hayden's age, I washed her friends during naptime. She never noticed their absence because they would be out of the washer before she woke up. (Because she's small, I rarely dry Mimi, though I do her larger animals or they mold.)
About the books, they both have their strengths. Secrets of the Baby Whisperer is the closest thing you can find to a baby manual. But you have to study it to really benefit. Solves all Your Problems has more direct questions and answers, and that's actually the most helpful with sleeping habits. It also has a brief overview of Secrets. I guess if I had to choose just one, it would be Solves all your Problems. But both are excellent, excellent books to have around.
Too funny! It's probably mean, but I love the picture of him pointing and crying!
I love it! B-man is the same way with some of this things. We have finally gotten to the point where he helps me wash his stuff and he is ok with it! =0)
