Birth Pictures

These are the pics from Millie's birth.  The birth happened so fast that the photographer wasn't able to make it until about 10 or 15 minutes after the birth (I think... time was still a little unclear!) so my doula, Marcie, took some.  I am really grateful for that.  I remember when we decided to go ahead and break my water, I turned to her and asked her to take pictures. I'm someone who loves pictures a lot, and I'll go back and look through them for hours to remember everything. I've never had any pictures of any of my labors, so it was important to me.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to share them because it's a really sacred and personal moment, but I just don't want them to sit on my computer untouched forever.  They are begging to be shared, and hopefully they can just inspire someone who has a high goal to reach.  

I was actually smiling here because Owen had said something cute, as I'm sure you can guess by his face.
