Hayden and Halle are SO excited this year. They've been playing Christmas music since Halloween. We set up the tree the Monday before Thanksgiving for FHE. It was fun to watch Hayden. Derrick really got a kick out of it, because it reminded him of himself when he was a boy. This year feels magical!
Halle just walked around, spun around, and danced around singing. She put on this hat and came and asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I didn't get at first that she was pretending to be Santa.
And as you can see, Hayden stayed in this same spot the whole time so that's where most of the decorations are.
We have three smaller trees, and this year decided to let them both have a tree in their room. How fun to have Christmas lights be your night light!
It only lasted a night because I'm paranoid of their rooms starting on fire, so I turn them off after I tuck them in.
In other christmas news, Santa left us a package on our porch.
Inside was....
An elf!
Santa also left a letter telling us he thought we might enjoy having an elf come stay with us. He's going to watch to see if they need to be on the good or naughty list. :) He left it up to us to give him a name. My children chose the name Tater.
And wouldn't you know... that naught elf! He wrapped our tree in toilet paper while we were asleep! I have a feeling he's going to be a trouble maker...

hahaha oh that is so cute. I love that Tater toilet papered your tree. :) I have considered starting that tradition... but have yet to do it. Looks fun though. Cute pictures.
So cute. The fun memories of Christmas. Love the elf idea.

Lol! That is the cutest thing ever! I'm starting to want a Tater of my own. :)
