I'm really only blogging right now because it's late, but I'm not tired.  Too many thoughts swirling around in my head.  Maybe I just need to talk about something to calm down my little brain?  So I'm just going to ramble on about a few things for a while.

Halle's hair is driving me crazy you guys.  It's uneven, but I'm, not sure I could do much with it if I cut it.  It's just at an awkward length and needs to grow!  It's curly on the ends right after you wash it, so at bedtime.  The cuteness is gone by morning, and it just looks frizzy.

So I decided to put curlers in it and see if I could get more out of those cute curls.  She looked really cute with them in her hair...

But not so much when they came out!  Apparently I don't know what I'm doing.  Maybe I should have put more in.  But it was just really frizzy and funny.  Oh well, we had fun!

Father's Day!
They sure love their Daddy.  They got him a pocket knife like one he lost, and a shirt with some of Hayden's art work on it.  He drew a picture of his dad on a bike, and I freezer paper stenciled it to a shirt.

He's wearing it in this picture, but you can't see it.  I told the kids to sit on Dad's lap, and this is what I got.

I love this picture because it shows an accurate depiction of their relationship.

And then I tried to get Hayden to smile for me because I need a good head shot of him for a project I want to do.  He was feeling a little too silly though, and I never got the shot  I was looking for.

Pretty cute kid though!

They just make these faces and you can't stop them lately!

Helping Derrick change the oil.  These are the kind of moments I think they will like to see pictures of when they are bigger.

I totally understand the hair thing! I have that way about Maddie's hair for about 2 years now... Someday I'm sure it will grow. What cute pictures though. You've got some sweet kids.

Hehehe - that curly hair picture makes me laugh. I hear you though, those foam curlers don't work well at all. Maybe try wetting her hair down in the morning and putting gel or moose in it. That might do something... I don't know, I have no experience with curly hair. When her hair is long you'll have to get curlformers - LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

That same exact thing happened when I put curlers in my daughters hair. LOL! Her hair is odd lengths as well. With the help of older brother deciding it needed to be cut so a little here a little there. UGH! It is finally grown out to where I can do a little with it.
I have found a few websites like this one http://www.princesshairstyles.com That have some cute ideas for short hair.
