Have I ever mentioned how Hayden is obsessed with trains? Especially Thomas? I'm sure I must have, because it's a big part of his life. :) Have you noticed in how many pictures he's wearing his conductor hat from his Halloween costume last year? I really love him in that hat.
Well I was flipping through a coupon magazine and I saw that Thomas was coming to Utah! We couldn't miss it. Last Friday we all went to Heber to take a ride on Thomas. I can't explain to you the excitement and anticipation of Hayden and Halle both.
When we got there there were a bunch of activities to do.

They also had a gift shop where the children were completely spoiled by Grandma Jean, who we were so excited to have with us that day. They have certainly been put to good use!
I love this picture of the two of them! Hayden has a special relationship with Grandpa J., and Halle is a Grandma Jean's girl. Hayden was excited for Thomas (actually he wanted it to be Spencer) and Halle just kept saying, "I wanna see Toppin Hat!" (Sir Topham Hat) And here he is. It was an incredible day, and one that the kids are still talking about!

We went to Thomas on Saturday and Lucas loved it!
Jealous!! I really wanted to take Spencer there this year but we went down for Mother's Day instead. Spencer would have loved that. Maybe next year I can make it to it.
