Two Bears

The two bears... This is a great story.  I can't remember if I've told it before, so I'm telling it anyway.  The bear on the right I bought for Hayden when I was pregnant with him.  It was the first thing we bought, so it was really special.  Luckily, he loved it!  It has always been his comfort item.  It started getting raggedy looking, so I started looking up replacement bears in case we ever lost it.  I looked up the number on the tag, and of course, it's been discontinued.  I couldn't find one on ebay or anywhere just like it.  We just hoped it would never get lost, because there was no replacing bear!

Well when we first moved here, a friend in the ward was moving and selling some things.  I went to pick up something I was buying from her, and she told me to look around in her garage to see if there was anything else we wanted because they were getting rid of a bunch more things.  As I was looking around I saw a familiar pile of fuzz and a familiar bow in the stuffed animal box.  I picked it up and saw another bear! I couldn't believe my eyes.  They are identical, and after looking for so long for a 'just in case' bear, here was one that they were giving away!  What luck!  So we put the new bear up in our closet for safe keeping. Of course, Hayden found it and now he can't be without two bears.  He loves them and tells me so.  And that bear loves him back.

How adorable. If it makes you feel better, I still sleep with my baby blanket, not even kidding you. Warren absolutely hates it, but there is no replacement for this blanket! Ever!

I can not even believe you found the exact same bear. That truly is amazing. Lucky Hayden. :)

Cute!! Addie has her Kitty, and boy is it ragged looking! My grandma wants me to replace it so bad that she bought 5 brand new ones (also WAY hard to find and took me ages looking) ...however, Im too much of a sentimental sap to 'replace' Kitty so the 5 nice, clean, new ones are still stashed in my closet! *sigh*
