While cleaning today, I found Halle engrossed in a book. Daddy's 'Concepts and applications of finite element analysis' book. (Do you get why I sort of have a hard time talking to Derrick about engineering stuff?)

She is a doll! She's doing so many new things. She knows the sound that an elephant makes and shows me whenever she sees a picture of one. Today while we were outside she started making funny short noises, and I realized that she was imitating a dog barking! She can say Nonny (That's me!), Daddy, Halle, doggy, ok, yeah, hi, more, go, and here when she's handing you something. She signs please, more, milk, thank you, cracker, I love you, and waves goodbye. She loves to explore and could walk around forever pointing at things and screaming excitedly. She pulls at the neck of her shirt whenever she wants to take a bath, which is quite often. Have I mentioned her sleeping? Oh, I finally get some good sleep! She goes down easily and sleeps the night through. Her naps are also nice and long and she goes down without a fight. If I could only get her to eat fruits and veggies...
This morning right after breakfast the kids helped Daddy wash the car.
Halle is terrified of walking over cracks in the cement! She always gets down on her knees and crawls over them! I laugh every time!
And this is how Hayden sleeps. With his head covered by blankets. He says he's hiding. Kids are so strange sometimes.

Halle is such a DOLL!!!!(Just like you said) She looks just like you!! But, I do think she has a look of Derrick in the picture where she's holding that wash rag. What a fun thing for them to do, help wash the car.
And I love that Hayden was sleeping under the blanket. That's so cute!!!
Ha ha. That is so funny that she is afraid of the cracks. What a cute girl! I am so glad she is sleeping so well. It seems like night and day how she has switched. Yay!
Halle is so funny. I guess you have to choose your battles with her don't ya? I think I'd take the sleeping over the veggies at this point in time... but maybe that's just me :) I love that that's how Hayden sleeps. He is a hoot. Maddie has been a little more afraid of monsters lately, I wonder if that is why he is hiding?
I love how she's afraid of the cracks in the cement! That's too funny!
My brother is an engineer and his wife doesn't get much about what he does at work either. So don't feel bad. But hey maybe Halle could explain it too you sometime after she finishes that complicated book :)
Wow, she's doing a ton of fun things. LOL with the cracks in the sidewalk, that's so cute!
