FREE!

I love good deals! We were very lucky this week and scored a free piano! I have been wanting to get Derrick a piano for a long time. It was my dream to buy one and surprise him with it someday far down the road when we have money. There is a a google group here called the Corkboard, which is an email group of a bunch of women in this area from all three wards. I saw someone who was giving one away because they were moving out of country, so I had to take advantage of it! I called as soon as I saw it, and it was still available. This was really lucky because free things go soooo fast. I guess the piano breaks easily sometimes because the inside has plastic parts, but you can't beat free. Surprising Derrick wouldn't work though, because he had to move it. Oh well. We had some help from our ward, and we moved it in today!



Here's Hayden enjoying it. He's so creative. Of course he couldn't go a whole day without pinching his fingers in it. Hopefully he learned his lesson and it will be the last time!

And for those wondering, no I don't play, but Derrick does pretty good. Let's just say he's a little out of practice.
