We got home from our Spring Break activities on Monday night. It was a little extended due to the funeral. We were so glad to be home, but it was still a pretty chaotic week (as I mentioned...). Derrick had some crazy homework assignments to get done before he left on his trip Wednesday night. The University of Delaware invited him out to look at their school too. So it was busy until Wednesday night and the he left! And I was alone with the kids! I'm grateful to my dad for taking Derrick to the airport so I didn't have to drag the kids out in the middle of the night. He took a red eye flight, which he says he will never ever do again. It was very ...interesting... to feel like a single mom for a couple days. Very difficult, I will not lie. I can't imagine how I could do it, especially since I didn't even have to go to work during the day. And of course, Hayden had to get sick then. He was soooo clingy and it made it so hard to get anything done or take care of Halle. He was so miserable on Saturday, and told me that his ear hurt. This made me realize how glad I am that he can communicated! No more guessing what is wrong! I took him to the doctor before my Scentsy party that day (which only one person showed up for... and I am very grateful she came. It just felt really silly to make snacks and stuff for just one person.) Turns out, he both of his ears were infected! His fever was 102 when we went in and he fell asleep sitting up in the shopping cart when I went to pick up his antibiotics. He started to feel better within a day or so, but it took all week for him to get back to his regular funny self. I picked Derrick up from the airport that night. I was so glad to see him. Hayden missed him a lot too. He kept saying, "Dada skoo." or "Dada Skooze." Which means that Daddy is at school. He said it every morning when Derrick wasn't there, and many times throughout the day. It was really sad how much he missed his daddy.
Other Stuff:
Potty Training
"UP."
Translation: Throw up. This isn't really as gross as you think. I did not take a picture of my kid puking.
Shoes
Then he decided it was time to go outside. Yes, he can open doors now. I did not encourage him to learn this! Scary! Now I'm paranoid that he will run away and I check the dead bolt a million times a day.
But guess what? It was cold. He loves to do the sign for cold. He clenches until he shakes.

Halle
Still such a good baby! She just hangs out! She's so patient when I have stuff to do, except for when she's hungry. She LOVES attention, and all you really have to do to get her to smile is look at her and talk to her. She has started to coo and giggle more too. She also sleeps better at night than Hayden does.

Jaide sleeps better than my boys too. Isn't that funny. I'm so glad I finally have a good sleeper :)
Love the pictures! Hayden is soooooo big! I can't believe your already potty training! Lucky!! I'm always offering for Cole to sit on his potty, and it literally is 2 seconds, that he'll sit on it! He'll probably be 5 before he's potty trained! I really hope not! Halle is sure a cutie! She looks a lot like you I think! She's a doll!
I bet that was so hard having Derrick gone! :( Glad hes back! lol
Cute that hayden missed him so much though!
Im sorry only 1 person came to your scentsy party!I wanted to go and have wanted to try scentsy stuff for ages, and felt bad that I was out of town! ... Im excited to get the catalog from you today though, and am planning on ordering a little something at least! :)
Hayden is growing so fast!! Ive never thought about when Addie will get to the point of being able to open doors and stuff! That IS scary! Wow! lol...
The potty stuff is so funny! I love the blanket pic! You will have to let me know how it goes when you try the underwear thing.
Halle is such a doll! Its funny because she's getting bigger, but she still looks so small... I guess because Im used to Addie, my chubb! *wink* She's way cute, and I agree (with the comment posted above mine)that she looks a lot like you already!
Is Derrick glad to be home? Has he decided on a school yet? Im still excited for you guys and the opportunity it is, but sad you will be moving! You guys have been so sweet and fun to get to know! :)

I am SOOOO sorry about your Scentsy party. Only a few people came to mine when I did it a year or so ago so I know what you mean, but ONE!! :( At least hopefully some people will order from you. ...
I love the pump picture - fabulous!!
So cute. I love all the fun things the little ones come up with. I'm So sorry about your Scentsy party too! I was going to come but then we had a couple of unexpected visitors come up that day to visit us. I also know how stupid you feel when that happens too because thats how it was when I threw my heritage makers party. My own family and 2 friends (which you were one of the 2 friends weren't you) I'm sorry though!
I'm sorry I couldn't come to your Scentsy party. I love Scentsy! I feel bad now since only one person showed up! What a bummer! And even those who aren't mommies know what that picture was of! I literally laughed out loud for a good 30 seconds at that picture alone!
