I learned something new about myself.

Hayden found our bag of potatoes on Sunday after dinner. He carried one around and was picking at it's eyes! It totally grossed me out! I can't believe how much I hate the eyes on potatoes. Ew, and he didn't even care. So that's what I learned about myself this week. I guess I always knew it, but I never thought about it.

He also put on my shoes the other day. So funny.

Saturday Derrick took him to a basketball game. It was nice to have a quiet house for a bit! We thought he would be super excited when he got there since he loves playing ball so much now, but he was really quiet. Derrick thinks he was overwhelmed by all the noise from the naughty Aggie fans.
And I haven't taken any new pictures of Halle. I'm awful, I know. I was determined not to be the kind of mom that didn't take as many pictures of the second baby, but I am. She just sleeps though. There goes my fears about her taking over the blog once she got here. Hayden is a little more interesting for now. But here is a picture from a while ago of her sleeping (so my mom doesn't' get mad at me hehe).

She is beautiful. We took her to church for the first time last week. Of course I got her all dressed up in a cute dress. She lasted 20 minutes before she had a blow out diaper and got poop all over it. Nice huh? At least she's a good girl and slept all through church.

So is that why you left relief society early on Sunday? Hayden sure is cute in his Aggie Pride clothes. We need to play sometime soon!

It was fun to see you guys at church - that is sad about the dress. I loved your post below about hugging your kids. Thanks for the reminder. :)

At least most of us can say we've all "been there" with the church story!
She looks so peaceful in that pic!

Hayden cracks me up! I love your stories! :)

Your kids are way too good lookin! Oh, that was the most beautiful story! I feel like since I've had a baby I can really feel how much the Lord loves me - comparing to how I feel about my boy. I'm such a sapp now, I cry a lot more!

I love that Hayden went with Derrick to a basketball game. So cute. Father and son already doing fun things together.

I just read your previous post too.

I am right there with you. I wonder sometimes how I can so easily forget to hold my children close and just love them...to not worry that they have ignored my requests or reprimands a million times, or that (i should say he since Reid is still a baby) just talked back to me...but to remember the smiles, the laughter, the I love yous.

You are a wonderful mother and you have two lucky kids.
