Hayden and I went to visit my mom for the 4th of July while Derrick went with his brothers on a hiking trip. These are the only pictures I got of Hayden on my camera the whole time! Well, there are about a million bathtub pictures, but i didn't think you would care to see all of them. My mom has this fun little fishy toy where you wind it up and the tail flips so it can swim. He didn't like to let it swim. He just liked to pick it up and watch the tail.
And he kept handing it to my mom to wind it up again.
We didn't end up doing any of the things on the 4th I had planned on, like seeing the hot air balloons (too early), or going to the parade (too hot), but we had a lot of fun! It was a nice relaxing weekend except for the part where Hayden wouldn't sleep at all. We even went to Ikea and I found my future bedroom furniture! HAHA one day!

Yesterday Derrick was sanding his project for our ward's pinewood derby and Hayden wanted to help! So we found him his own piece of wood and he copied Daddy. He has been mimicking us a lot lately and it's my favorite thing. He spilled his sippy of water one day and I was cleaning it up with a dish towel. He found the box of wipes on the floor and he got one out. He came over to the floor where I was wiping it up and he tried to help me with his wipe! It was pretty cute. He likes to help me clean and will even wipe his own face if i give him a towel.



Notice the spoons. He has this funny spoon obsession and he likes to carry them around the house.
