In Loving Memory

Our beloved prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away Sunday night. Like most people my age, he is really the only President of the Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) that I can remember clearly. Whenever he spoke, I remember the Holy Ghost truly witnessing to me the he was a prophet of God! What a wonderful man! We will miss him here, but are so grateful that he is reunited with his Marjorie. I am sure he is glad to be home. I am so grateful for the knowledge that this life is not the end, and that we can be with our families for eternity.
Some of my favorite quotes by him:

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. i say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. If you do your best, it will all work out. Put your trust in God and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us,...if we put our trust in Him, if we pray to Him, if we live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."

"My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life we 'accentuate the positive.' I am asking that we look a little deeper for the good, that we still our voices of insult and sarcasm, that we more generously compliment and endorse virtue and effort."

His funeral is planned for Saturday morning. Details HERE.

Hey guys. Your blog is so cute. I love the backgrounds. Where'd you get them? Your little boy is so cute and has the bluest eyes. The pictures of him sleeping are hilarious. Keep up the good work.

I love the first quote by President Hinckley. I actually gave Tim something with it written on it when he graduated from high school!
