Thank you, Martin Luther King, Jr.

Derrick had Monday off school, so we went sledding with our friends Doug and Denice.
We don't have a snowsuit for Hayden, so we had to improvise. It was pretty cold! He is wearing two onesies, a fleece bunting suit thing, plastic pants on top of that, grocery bags over his shoes, his hat that covers his ears, Derrick's face mask thing, socks on his hands with gloves on top. I brought a plastic rain coat to put on top of it all, but he was too poofy and I couldn't get it on. He was NOT happy about wearing all that. He just got all limp and wouldn't move. He wasn't happy, but he wasn't crying either. Most of the time.
He has really really pretty eyes. I love them. I always thought my kids would have dark eyes like Derrick and me. I never thought I would have a blue eyed baby. I guess his Grandma J has blue eyes, and his great grandpa H has blue eyes, so it's not that weird.

Now you can really see the plastic on his shoes. We had a fun day. Happy family.

This is Hayden going down the hill with his dad. Poor baby. We think he looks like the little girl from Monsters, Inc when she was in the monster suit in this video. I love his lack of reaction, even after what he had been through.

This is Derrick doing some acrobatics.

Erin!! I love reading your blog! It looks like you guys have SO much fun!! Congrats on Hayden's first full night's sleep! That's awesome! And tell Derrick he's a nerd, and needs to learn about that thing we call a center of gravity! haha. Anyway, love you sweetie, and we should hit Firehouse again soon! (if Hayden can handle it, I guess!) kj.
