So Blessed

Owen was blessed at church this morning.  It was such a wonderful day, I can't even explain!  My heart is full to look around and see so many family and friends who came to be with us.  I am really feeling blessed today.

I was worried all week because it was raining, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. (which is good because I can't fit that many people in my house!)

My most favorite blessings.  I really love them. It's funny to think about myself a few years ago, when I had no idea what my future would be like.  I'm so grateful it turned out the way it has.

It was a special day for these two.  I love to watch the babies on their blessing day, when they are surrounded by a circle of priesthood holders.  

We got some smiles!  I made his blessing outfit while listening to conference.

 This is so not a flattering picture of me, but I've been trying to get his sad pucker face for a while because it's just too cute.

Then I got a nap.  Friends and family, good food, beautiful day, enjoying my cute little family, and a nap. That pretty much makes it the perfect day.

There are two fields behind our house.  The one closes to us is just grass.  I heard once that it's protected grasslands or something.  The next one out has cows.  But tonight, I looked out the window and there were three calves eating our pumpkin plant that had grown through the fence.  We scared them away before Derrick could get a good picture, but the kids sure thought it was fun to get so close up to them.  I love where we live.  Look at that view and the sunset!
