Graduation

It wasn't long after we got to Utah that we had to go back to Indiana.  This time was much better, because we got to fly, and we were sans kids.  I love family trips, but travelling is always easier without kids! I actually really wished they could have come with us to see graduation.  Derrick worked so hard to get his degree, but I would say it was also a family effort for sure.  We have all been right there with him from the beginning, so I would have liked to have them there to celebrate with us too.  I know they would not have cared at all though, and they had way more fun with Grandma Jean than they would have sitting in a commencement.

Derrick's parents came with us, but we flew out separately.  It was like a big long date!  I don't even care what we are doing - I just love being with him.  We got Quiznos and I sat and talked his ear off at the airport. On our long layover we sat and watched a movie on his laptop.  He carried my luggage for me. :)

 What a handsome guy!

Had to run through the fountains one last time!

And I'm sure Derrick would have me add that he couldn't have done it without his parents either.  They've always been there to support and encourage him.
 One last goodbye to Neil.
 Walking down the aisle!

I think this is my favorite picture!  It's so hilarious and adorable!  He's a whole head taller than anyone he was sitting by.  It was easy to spot him.

I love him! And I'm so proud of all that he's accomplished and all of his hard work.
