I planted some herb starts. I think the universe was against me having an herb garden though. I had them sitting in my room on a table to get good sunlight. Hayden came up to me the next day and said, "Here mommy!" as he handed me the labels I had stuck in.
But it didn't really matter that I have never seen most herb plants and I had no idea how to tell them apart after they sprouted. Because...
Halle pulled them off the table. "Uh-oh! Uh-oh! Uh-oh!" she said. And then she cried. She's very sensitive. I didn't even say anything to her! I just laughed! Oh, well. I will start over.
I have LOTS more to say. And lots of pictures too. I will be back soon, I swear.

What a sweetheart! So upset over it - I can totally tell. And GOOD mom moment for you - laughing instead of getting upset. I've been so uptight with my kidos lately and I KNOW I need to chill.
Oh no. Those plants never had a chance did they? I did some starts... they even grew really well. But then it got so cold I couldn't transfer them to the garden before they died. :( Sad.
Oh no...ha ha. Kids are seriously attracted to dirt inside or outside. She looks so sad. What a cute girl.
You are brave to do herbs from seed. I always have trouble and just get starts. Good luck with your next batch!
Oh sad! lol -but her teary looking little eyes are adorable :)
Glad your coming back to blogging! *wink*
Oh sad. Glad you had a good attitude about it. I started some basil and I'm so excited about it. The package said to transfer it when it grows to 3 inches. Right now it's holding strong at one inch so I'm beginning to loose hope that they'll grow any taller.
I hope your herb garden grows better than that!
I love Halle's face! It makes me laugh and then excited to have a baby.
