Happy First Birthday!

We are on our Christmas vacation right now, and that is the reason for my poor neglected blog.  Beware, I have taken TONS of pictures and can see many long blog posts in the future. But today I had to post because is Halle's birthday! This year has flown by so fast.  It seems she grew so much faster than Hayden did, and it's hard to believe a year ago today I was enjoying my new little tiny babe. Since then she has learned so many things.  She's now walking quite a bit.  It's fun for her to practice and try to stand up in the middle of the room. She carries things around and pretends they are not too big for her.  She is a climber and we have found that there are no barriers good enough to keep her off the stairs!  Her favorite toy in the world is her toothbrush. She's definitely a mommy's girl and I do love that she is so cuddly.  She adores her big brother and tries to copy everything he does. Her latest cute things include saying some words (hello, bye, daddy, uh-oh, and mimicking sounds she hears), waving, clapping, "talking" on the phone, and dancing when she hears anything that might resemble music.  She grunts at you when she likes you, and has a smile to melt any heart.  She can be very sensitive and cries any time you tell her even very nicely not to do something.  She's a little bit shy at first, but she warms up to people quickly (with the exception of a few scary looking uncles hehe).   She really is such a sweet baby!  We love her so much!
