Well, she made it six months! I am amazed that it has actually been that long. The first year of her life is half over! What a beautiful little girl she is. Here are a few things about Halle Jean:
- She LOVES her big brother. She watches him all day long and thinks his every move is hilarious. he is easily her favorite person (besides, of course, her own personal cow = me)
- She loves her purees and opens her mouth really cute when she sees it coming. It makes her happy and she blows raspberries right when I get it in her mouth. (fabulous..)
- She wakes up SO happy every day. Her biggest smile of the day is first thing in the morning. It's fun to wake up to such a happy baby.
- When I put her down in her crib, she immediately rolls to her side and throws her head clear back so she's looking straight up. It looks very uncomfortable, but she does it every time. She must like it!
- She is very close to sitting up. She is content to try as long as Hayden is bringing her toys. He loves to share with her.
- She is a CHUNK. I weighed her yesterday and she was about 18 lbs! She gained over 5 lbs in two months. And since she is already really long, she just looks big. She was the same size as the 10 month old I sat her next to yesterday.
- She has the best laugh, which she always seems to do when Hayden is being naughty. (of course making it harder for him to stop what he was doing wrong because he thinks it's funny)

She's such a beautiful baby, how fun is that to watch how your kids interact with each other! I'm so excited to get to see that with mine!
What a sweet pea! I never thought it'd be true, but if she really is 18 lbs then she is heavier than Linus was at 6 months (he was 17 1/2). She was so tall and thin when you guys left! That's amazing that she has grown so fast. It's odd how kids go through spurts - I'm hoping Linus will just slow down here for a few months. He's about 20 pounds and I REALLY don't want him to grow out of his infant seat until he is a year (the weight limit is 22 pounds). I still think he looks chubbier than Halle though - Linus is SOOOOOO short that all his weight hangs out around his face and thighs. :) That's okay - I like a fat baby.
I love that picture of her - she does have the biggest smiles.
Hee hee! What a doll! The happy morning smiles are the best! -I cant believe shes that big already! Goes by so fast!
