Nebulizer

She hates this thing so bad. She screams. I can tell she is just panicking because her head gets all sweaty and hot too. I'm supposed to do it every four hours, but today I just kept putting it off because she hates it so much. She did start to cough after a while though. She has been sounding SO much better, and hadn't been coughing at all. The treatments are really helping, but it looks like she still needs to be on them or it gets worse. We have a doctor's appointment in the morning, so we will see what he says. This poor girl has seen him an average of once a week since she was born between well baby visits, her umbilical granuloma, and now RSV! Her umbilical granuloma actually had to be burned off FIVE times. He said it was the most stubborn one he had ever seen when he was telling a med student about it. So needless to say, all the nurses know us pretty well!

And I am SO tired of being inside. I think the depressing part is I know that I'm not going out anytime soon. He said she could have the virus for weeks, and I really don't want to pass it around. I am also afraid that Hayden could be passing it around too, so I don't want to let him play with other kids. So no taking kids to the store, to other people's houses, to church... We just stay inside and disinfect stuff.

That is such a sad little picture! Instead of seeing this as a time of seclusion, look at it as an opportunity to do things with your kids you may not otherwise find the time to, like fingerpainting or other projects. Good luck, I know it's hard to be stuck inside, I'm not looking forward to it either when I have my little one!
