I'm so upset I can't even think of a title

I have been so excited about my garden. This last week the plants have been really starting to come up. I was amazed that anything was actually growing so I watered it everyday and pulled all the weeds. Look how cute the little plants are! So yesterday I was kind of scared when I came home and noticed that I could see some dirt on the sidewalk by my garden, but I hoped it was just the rain splashing some mud onto the pavement. No such luck! Some maintenance guys dug up my garden!!!
I just want to cry. They dug up my zucchini and a bunch of pea plants to get to this sprinkler line, and dumped all the dirt on my carrots! Carrots are pretty fragile at this point and their little sprouts were tiny, so there is really no saving them.

I'm pretty sure this happened because I gave a lesson in Relief Society on charity, and the Lord wants to see if I actually learned anything. Here is an opportunity for me to practice I guess, so I am trying really really really hard not to think mean things towards the maintenance men. It's HARD!

I am so sorry Erin. Is it too late to try and plant them again? I would be more then willing to help if it isn't.

That stinks! I'm so sorry! I was excited to see how your plants did. My plants have been doing very well, but we had like 5 storms yesterday with really fast wind and lots of tornados during the day, and when I got home from work they were all droopy. I hope they'll perk up again, but one of them says not to over-water...whoops. I think the rain did that one in. So, I kind of know how you feel! I'm in mourning, too:( Although, your's was caused by someone else instead of mother nature...I think your situation is worse!!!

Why did they dig it up? I can see the pipe is broken. They dug it up but didn't fix it? You didn't puncture that line when you were digging holes did you? At any rate, sorry to hear about your garden.

I think they dug it up because it was broken?? I really have no idea.

Aaaagh! I am SO sorry Erin. I would practice charity...right after I found those lame dudes and gave them a good talking to. Your garden really was cute. Till next year right?

That is so frustrating when something like that happens. What about buying seadlings? Sometimes they have really good sales on them at the nursery. Just a thought. =)

I am so sorry! The maintenance people must be doing something with the sprinklers because they were digging holes where we live too.
