I have been tagged three times, so here we go. Sorry it took so long. This is going to be really long...
The first was from Tannie. Write 3 things I love besides my husband, children, or soda to commemorate February.
1. Pictures. I'm not very good at taking them, but I love to look at them anyway. I love when I look at a picture and I can remember how I felt when it was taken.
2.Being a mom and a wife. Mommyhood is the

st thing I have ever

You can't even type a sentence without your baby coming up and pushing the enter button a bunch of times. But things that are not challenging are not as rewarding. When Hayden was a newborn I just stared at him all day... I still do. He has brought such an amazing spirit to our home. I love to see Derrick with him. It changes something about your relationship when you see your spouse as a parent. So, it is a hard job, and hard to remember sometimes that your job is amazing and so important, but I would never trade my experience as a mother for anything.
3. The gospel. I know I talk about it a lot here, but it's my blog, so ha. The only reason I am happy is because I know that there is a plan for my life that doesn't end at death. I get to be with my family for eternity, I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, and I have a reason to keep enduring. What more could a person ask for?
The next was from Amy: Dump everything out of your purse and name what's in there! You really get to know a gal by what's in her bag.My purse shows that I am a mom, and that my life has been completely taken over by my child. OK, well my purse doubles as a baby bag, so I guess it's understandable.
For me:
-wallet
-cell phone
-keys
-pens
-receipts
-page of 2 cent stamps to mail Hayden's b-day invitations.
-list of things to not forget (my life would fall apart if I didn't write things down. i forget a lot of stuff anyway)
-a handout from the enrichment class last night
For Hayden:
-sippy cup with old juice that really really needs to be dumped out
-2 diapers
-wipes
-raisins, crackers, puffs - snacks
-an empty bottle
-a bunch of toys including some magnet squares he stole from grandma jean and a tube of lotion that he likes to chew on
-formula
-a binky
-a spoon
It used to be a lot worse. When he was still suffering from reflux and puking all the time I had to carry around blankets, which I used as spit up rags, and extra clothes.
The next was from Melissa. Show my 10 favorite pictures. There are way more than 10, but it's my blog, so ha!My Grandpa H. and me on my blessing day. I loved that pink blanket. It got lost one day and I was really sad.
Derrick when he was little. Cute, huh!
This is Derrick with the gorgeous baptismal font on his mission in Bermuda. We WILL go there one day. It's our dream vacation.
My daddy and me on the day I went through the temple. Love that guy.
We fell asleep during conference when we were engaged. I think it's funny and cute all at once.
An engagement pic.
Wedding pic. Best day ever!
Just out of the temple. We're married! YAY!
Our wedding. Look how many people love us!
Special moment when Hayden was born. He was just a few minutes old here. I know I looked awful, but it's really sweet anyway.
Newborn Hayden. We used this for his birth announcement.
I LOVE Hayden's smile. He was being so cute in the bath one day.
These two were taken on Mother's Day.
5 month pictures.
My step-dad Brent with Hayden playing. I was lucky and grew up with three parents.
My mother and father in law at our reception.. They are amazing people! I'm so glad to be a part of their family.
