yum yum

I tried a new recipe yesterday. I think if we want to ever eat on Sundays we are going to have to use the crock pot every week. If you have any good crock pot recipes you should send them to me.

I got this recipe from a friend in my ward. It's called Sunday Chicken. So easy. Cut up a bunch of vegetables. I used red potatoes, carrots, and green beans (which I would not suggest unless you put them in near the end because they cooked too long and turned out really mushy). put them in the bottom and then put a whole chicken on top. Wash the chicken first and take out any bags of stuff that they might have inside. Season the chicken how you want it. I bought one that was already mesquite flavored because it was cheaper and it was so good. I added a little water to the pot and cooked in on high for about 5 or 6 hours. You can also cook it on low for about 8. It turned out perfect. The chicken was so tender that it fell apart when I went to take it out to carve it. The funnest part was that Hayden could eat all of it too. He devoured it!!

He just loved it!

Yummy! I'm definately going to have to try that! I am so sad for Hayden! Poor little guy! I'm glad he is feeling better! And I never even thought to be paranoid about someone stealing your baby in the hospital! Thanks a lot, now I'm going to be paranoid! haha!
