Food Storage

Well, I can't get the video of the puffs to upload because it is way too big. Sorry.

I went to a Relief Society activity last night where we talked about food storage. We divided up into four classes and one of the most interesting was on how to find space in your house to store it. Since we are a married student ward, and we all live in apartments, we have the same issue which is where do we put all the food? Derrick and I cleaned out our closet under the stairs and filled some big Tupperware containers with our food storage so we can store it there. We were looking around our apartment and decided if we would just rearrange the furniture there are lots of places we could put food. I have even heard of people moving their couch forward a few inches and lining up cans behind it! So I guess we have no excuses. Every time I go to the store I try to pick up at least one thing for food storage, and it has really helped our little supply grow quickly.

We also learned how to make things with wheat and wheat berries. I would never have thought to put wheat berries in a tuna casserole, but it was really good! It just gave it some more texture.
